Chads Gap With Tim Durtschi

I have been very lucky over my 10 plus years of filming skiing to be at every major Chad's gap session. From filming Chad clearing it with my one chip digital camera to capturing Tim Durtschi on HD it has been amazing to watch.
This latest build was one of the hardest. Including a scouting day I spent over 70 hours at Chad's over the course of 9 days. In that time my friend CR Johnson passed away(RIP), we had bad weather and with the five year reunion of Tanners crash on my mind I constantly questioned weather I should even be building it. There is nothing a filmer hates more then seeing one of his friends hurt, and as you will see(eventually) The most famous gap in the world did give up a new trick, but it also dished out some punishment.

Big Sky Country Urban? Part 3 The Wrap Up.

In this third and final installment of Big Sky Country Urban?! I’m just going try to giver’ and re-cap it all, in as few words as possible.

Between 36 hours with LJ, air soft bb gun fights against big chuck, and Simon getting us the ok from the local law enforcement we were able to snag a handful of shots right off the bat from the start. With a warming trend coming through our spot we headed further eastbound and down, packed the trucks, pumped some Sexy Chick, and Tik Tok to keep us moving and met up with the local Montana crew “Toy Solider Productions” Where we found them and shared what is soon to be a hit urban spot and shredded the underpass with them late into the night. Next day before heading back and getting exiled from the local cops we were able to add a few more shots in the can. When Sunday rolled around we took a little time off to go to the local hill up to Great Divide and ski with the local talent, and it’s booming! With setting the schedule for the rest of the week and Walker due to leave on Wednesday, Charles, Alexis and I got down to business trying to get creative with the little snow that was left and Simon (Host and Owner of Big Sky Board Sports) Was able to wrangle us some sleds up to use for some potential back country urban mission. As with most things nothing ever turns out as easy as it seems but shots were gotten and we moved onto the night mission on a standard down rail where the likes of Walker, and Gagnier got greasy smooth with style on to complete the trip for walkers departure only a few hours later. Lastly we headed north for search of more snow with Alexis and Charles but only to find ourselves getting red flagged and in trouble with State Sheriffs this time. When a local man demanded we leave and refused to show ID we refused to leave a public spot in Belt Montana to session a epic 60+ stair down rail, we then called the Sheriff ( keep in mind the small town of belt has no local police) to tell us why we couldn’t be at the public spot and he claimed due to the town not being happy, and him not being happy for making the trip out. It was useless and they just didn’t get it so by barely avoiding jail time (according to the sheriff) we made our way to our next feature that took another 12 hours to get permission to session before we ended the trip.

All in all BB fights, the best coffee ever (thanks simon) handrails, buffalo strips, subway eating challenges, and Charlie Grinnell aka Big Chuck, made the trip what it was.

I guess that wasn’t so short of a post. Whoops.

Many thanks to Simon & Greta Elston for hanging in there while we got our mission accomplished! Please visit http://www.bigskyboards.com/shop/

Big Sky Country Urban? Part II- Hunting for rails and the Intern.

Since, I last checked in we have now had LJ’s departure and with that was the arrival of Matt Walker, Charles Gagnier, and Alexis Godbout into the Big Sky Country, bringing the team to 50% American and 50% Canada. We’ve been dealing with snow issues from time to time but overall the outcome of the trip has been successful. Many of the success are thanks to our intern Charlie “BIG CHUCK” Grinnell who has provided his fair share of comedic relief on and off the streets. He’s stepped up to the Subway challenge from us eating 3 feet of Subway in just 19 mins. Then ordering a Large pizza for himself. Chuck is simply just sending it.

We’ve had the opportunity to check out a local Montana crew and they have led us around to some of their spots that are featured in their “Come Find Us” teaser. I guess we found them so they were more than happy to show us around. Thanks to Justin and the crew. Please make sure to check out their website and there teaser:

"Come Find Us" Pre-Season Teaser from Toy Soldier Productions on Vimeo.

Now, we are still in the country scoping the “cities” from county to county and scoring the goods for Revolver, for now we will leave you with a entertaining video of what we have accomplished in between rails.

Big Sky Country Urban? Part I

Yep, We are in search again for snow, not much snow needed this time as urban is the game once again. Myself, Erik Seo and Charlie "BIG CHUCK" Grinnell are the photo & film crew while we just rounded out a private 36 hour session with LJ Strenio. LJ poped up to Montana to get some bangers out of the way before heading to Japan to ski the bottomless powder with the Meat Heads Crew. LJ definitely proved the sleepless 15 hour drive from Aspen Open via SLC with Seo proved to yield some of this year's most gnarly rails, and yes in Big Sky Country, Montana. We rounded off our 36 hour tour with LJ with some Great pizza where we met the local cook who gave LJ some wisdom on his way to Japan, Wisdom you could only receive deep in the woods here.

Many Thanks go out to our host's with he most The Elston Family while we farm our way around the big sky country.

Walker, Gagnier, & Aleixs due to land in the next few days. So stay tuned for Part II Coming Soon!

Please check out
Mining For Jumps

Nike, created by an Oregonian, and now sponsoring the likes of TJ Schiller, Simon Dumont, Andreas Hatveit, and Jossi Wells, has currently brought them together for a PBP shoot in beautiful Silverton, CO. Andreas, coming off multiple Dew Tour victories, such as, overall Slopestyle winner and Rookie of the year, earned his 1st powder jump shots outside of Norway this week. Jossi, "The Fash," also dominated the Dew Tour series, with a pipe win at Snowbasin and crowned overall halfpipe champion. He also earned a 2nd place finish at X Pipe. With the work Jossi put forth during this tough competition schedule a break was needed, he made a quick pit stop in Silverton to help us dig for a day and then jetted off to Hawaii to shop, pimp, and relax. TJ, pulling a 1st ever double cork 1620, earned Silver at X Big Air allowing him to travel to Silverton, cook Shepards Pie for the crew, and stomp big in the sunny bc. Simon waltzed in late last night after resting in abnormally chilly Florida http://mattmargetts.com/ from his brutal crash in X Pipe. Oh, he also won Dew Tour pipe in Vermont after the knockout blow in Aspen. He did well on his 1st day in Silverton with one big shot, no pun intended.

The trip is going well, with nice sized backcountry jumps and an urban feature last night during the firework show and blizzard. We are currently staying in a 100 year old Victorian style house with 5 bedrooms, animal heads, tons of artwork, icy stairs, great views, and a man sized bathroom for me to unwind. Cody was here for the 1st couple of days, but has left to Montana for an urban mission with LJ, Gagnier, Alexis, Walker, and Seo. We will miss Cody and his late night tales, but for now, Jake, Nate, Simon, Andreas, Tj, and myself will continue to scout, build, and stomp in the bc of Silverton, CO.

Baker and a Boat

I went to Bellingham to ski some Baker pow and ended up on a boat!!!

Crazy how plans change, but my friend just bought a boat and we took it out for a spin, the 60 degree weather and sun made it a perfect febuary stroll in Bellingham Bay.

I am looking forward to some pow, but the weather has been unseasonably warm so who knows when it will hit, but I will be there!

latres on the menges..... anyone know what movie thats from???

Olympic travelogue

As many people know the wonderful town of Whistler BC is playing host to a handful of events for the 2010 Winter Olympics, not to mention army, airforce, special forces, RCMP, and a whole hoard of people. But unfortunately, the great sport of half pipe skiing is not involved so we have hit the road with a growing crew of talented athletes to invade the rest of the province and chase the ever changing weather patterns and vast terrain.

Currently we have Charley Ager, Riley Leboe, Josh Stack & Brandon Kelly posting up in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Joining soon will be especially talented Pete Alport, Tim Durtschi, John Spriggs, & Ian Cosco... we may be in Nelson, Rossland, Golden, Revy, or somewhere in the middle of all those great mountains. If you see us...say hello.

So far the travels have gone 'pretty good'! A few flat tires, broken skis, angry snowmobiles, and a whole lot of sun. Luckily there has been some cold snow to go with it :) Overall, things couldn't be better! Some long treks, and successful days have rendered the start of the trip a success.
2010 Powder Video Awards!

This past Saturday I arrived in Aspen Colorado for Golden Globes of skiing, the Powder Awards. I was up for a handful of awards including best jib, manmade air, and male performance..

It was my 3rd tie attending such an industry heavy event and it was pretty much exactly what it was last year, a complete booze fest.

I have to thank Poor Boyz, cuz without them I would have never won these awards. They back me on all my ideas, even though some of them are crazy. I a excited to keep filming this season and into the future with them.

All together it was fun night and I walked away with two powder awards, best man made air and best jib (best jib?). Below are photos from the event, enjoy.

RIP Eric Simard

PBP's NOTE: Eric Will always hold a special place in our hearts amongst the crew here at Poor Boyz. You were a inspiration to us all. Gone, but never forgotten.

This article is taken from newschoolers.com

This past weekend, the ski industry suffered a great loss, as Eric Simard, a renowned and highly respected filmer for Poor Boyz Productions and various other film companies passed away in Quebec. He was 28.

Eric spent the last few years living his dream as he traveled all over the world to exotic locations, where he filmed his friends skiing everything from deep pow in the Japanese backcountry, to private shoots in helicopters in France and Sweden, to some of the most ridiculous urban rails ever caught on film in his native Quebec.

I had the opportunity to get to know Eric over the past few years and had the utmost pleasure of becoming his friend while sharing many a good and unforgettable times with him on the road as we traveled together in Europe and other locations.

He was a bright, energetic young man whose talent and work ethic was far beyond his years, and the sparkle in his eye, wide smile on his face and infectious laugh that echoed throughout the mountains after he knew he got a good shot is something I will never forget.

The world of ski filmmaking has been made better because of Eric's vision, talent and contributions, and he will be sorely missed, and never forgotten. Thanks for all the memories my friend, and for being a truly amazing human being. - Jeff Schmuck of Newschoolers.com

I every now and then forget how lucky I am and take my life for granted. I sometimes forget that I’m one of the few on this planet to have this lifestyle, while being able to eat every day, drink fresh water…

I also, from time to time, forget to be grateful for all my amazing friends, my dope family, and for all the opportunities I have.

Eric had the opportunity to travel the world with Poor Boyz and had lots of friends, along with great passion for the field he worked in and that he loved so much. Somewhere down the road, he might have forgotten how lucky he was.
I would like to take this opportunity to be grateful for the time I spent with Eric and to remind everyone else that it’s never too late to appreciate what you have. Furthermore, always remember that what you appreciate appreciates you.

Thanks for the memories Eric. We will miss you my friend! - JF DuRocher of IF3

Montreal

I want everyone in the ski community to know that Simard was a righteous dude!

I had the privilege of shooting with him during Reasons and I have to say that he has changed my filming style forever. Eric had a style and swagger about him that I hadn't fully appreciated. He filmed things as a cinematographer would, not as just a filmer. He focused on the moments: the best parts of the trick and the best parts of the shot. This became a new approach to me thanks to Eric, as I had always given great attention to documenting a trick from start to finish. One Love Simard!

I love Simard, and that's real. I'm balling my eyes out watching his footage right now, and I am deeply saddened by losing a good friend and will miss him dearly. One thing I do know is that every time I look through my camera from now on I will ask myself how Simard would film it. He set the standard, so big ups to him, and my condolences to his family and the Quebec crew. I feel for your loss. - Tyler Hamlet of Poor Boyz Productions

Habla usted inglés? FRANCE

I have been filming in France with Bene Mayr, JP Auclair, and Julien Regnier in Vars france. Bene has been pushing me to try some double flips off some big jumps, which I am happy about because I want to take what I did last year and one up everything, and Vars France is the perfect place to do it.

There are so many jump options here, it is almost overwhelming. You have to decide if you want to spend a whole day building a nice kicker with wu-tang, or just stomp out a windlip and send it 80 feet into a perfect rollover. I have never had so many jump options to choose from so I have been going with the latter and just sending it off windlips while bene and JP have been getting tricks dialed on some sick wu-tangs with steep landings (ya ya I help shovel if thats what your thinking).

We still have another week to shred, even though Bene has to go back to Innsbruck, we will keep killing it until we depart on the 28th of January.

you can check out Bene's blog for some more photos: http://benemayr.blogspot.com/

NIFFTY: Film Starts Here

NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth)
NFFTY is the largest and most influential film festival for young filmmakers (age 22 and under). NFFTY occurs each spring in Seattle, Washington and includes 100+ film screenings, filmmaking panels, concerts by youth bands, and opportunities for young filmmakers to network with industry professionals and each other. Young filmmakers from around the world submit feature-length and short films in narrative, documentary, animation, music video, experimental, and international categories.

NFFTY provides a framework within which young filmmakers can find their voice, be heard (and seen), and learn from one another. Middle school, high school, and university media studies and video/film programs are obvious sources of submissions. There are also dozens of media arts programs working nationally with youth from all backgrounds, and from these come some of our most powerful submissions. There are many international organizations that use the power of video in the hands of youth to help communicate social injustices to the world at large. And there are many young people who live where there are no formal film programs, yet they produce compelling work.

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT
NFFTY is one of only a handful of multi-day film festivals dedicated exclusively to celebrating youth filmmaking. NFFTY has no minimum age requirements and brings a diverse grouping of elementary age to college age filmmakers together for cross mentoring.

We provide young filmmakers a "full feature" festival experience with screenings in state-of-the-art venues, exceptional access to industry professionals, and broad public exposure via enthusiastic theater audiences, internet streaming, and ongoing screening and distribution opportunities after the festival.

"Best of NFFTY" films are shown in school classrooms and screened before feature presentations at outdoor cinema and other community events in the Seattle area, as well as in other cities that are home to NFFTY alumni filmmakers and fans.

0% Carbon; 100% Entertainment
NFFTY is a carbon neutral event, certified by carbonfund.org. NFFTY and all programs of The Talented Youth are operated in as sustainable manner as possible.

The action sports category is open to any short film (30 minutes or under) that represents, showcases or is inspired by Action Sports, including skateboard, snowboard, surf, moto, wake, BMX, or freeski. In order to meet eligibility criteria for NFFTY 2010:

    1. The film’s director must have been 22 years old or younger at completion of filming.
2. All music and other copyrighted material used in films must be original or filmmaker must have obtained permission from the owner.
3. The film must be in English or subtitled in English.

NFFTY 2010 will be held April 29-May 2 in Seattle with over 100+ film screenings, film making workshops, and opportunities to meet and network with industry professionals. Submission forms and film uploads can be completed at http://www.nffty.org/submit

More info or to submit:

LineCatcher Event in France and Bene!

I was so happy to be able to compete in the Linecatcher 2010, from the day I got word of the event I was mentally and physically preparing for the contest. I went into the day ready to attack, thinking about my lines, and thinking about what it was going to take to win. With a huge cast of pros, Petit, Sage, Candide to name a few, the competition was heavy.

It was not until my second run, when I saw Candide throw down a flawless run with a massive flatspin and cork 7 true tails did I decide to throw a double flip in my run. I needed a little more air and I would have completed it but o well, I am happy I went for it. I am looking forward to next years comp already! I cannot wait to come back and do it again.

Bene Killed it might I add in the contest getting 5th place! Bene and I will be shoveling jumps and hitting them at high speeds and lots of tricky action coming for Poor Boyz movie next year! We are gonna get after it!

Tyler Hamlet is meeting up with us tommorow and JP and Julien are hanging out to help us get bangers and killy it with us, French style.

Here is the footage from Powder Awards, "Everyday" Killed it! I got 3 nominations!

This is Oil Country- Part Two

Welp, here we go part two of my blog entry about our trip to the great white north. We headed to the city of Edmonton on new years eve to shoot urban skiing for 10 days with Matt “Dubstep” Walker, Leigh “Gang-related” Powis, Mike”Miz” Henitiuk and LJ “Neo” Strenio. Pete Alport, and British-Canadian invasion super-sensation photog Dan Carr joined us as well. It needs to be said this trip couldn’t have been done without the amazing help of Miz’s grandparents. They so kindly opened their house up the seven of us and we never had to worry about getting hungry as Grandma Henitiuk kept the oven warm for us. Over the course of the 10 day trip we saw it al; Oilers Hockey, Hands sticking to metal, quite possibly the worlds nicest subway, Canadian healthcare, Broken windows, LJ’s socks growing it’s own species, the worlds largest mall with largest indoor water park, helicopters with search lights, FBI agents, Oh yeah and we slid just a couple of handrails. Rumor has it there may be a new trailer on the horizon for the 2010 flick. Keep posted to see more here!

Many thanks to the whole crew, Pete Alport, Heniituk’s Grandparents and Dan Carr!

This is Oil Country

Eh,

I am currently deployed in a land north of the USA aka the "Kansas Of Canada" Edmonton, Alberta. We are here with a great cast of characters including myself the infamous Peter H. Alport Dan Carr on the Trigger and athletes, Matt Walker, Mike Henitiuk, LJ Strenio and Leigh "Gang Related" Powis.

We are 5 days deep into the trip and we have seen sub zero temps every day. Found out the tim hortons here wont take visa, only Master Card, are you kidding me !? Realized why this is Oil Country. Gang related has fliped every feature. LJ has stinky socks. Henitiuk just got his driver's license and walker has given us a full history of dub step, and that's only scraping the surface while we are driving around getting deep into the streets. The shots are piling up and while i could explain what's happening it's best to just wonder where the state of urban skiing is today.

More to come...

2 Stroke Mini Golfin'

The Whistler crew of Dane Tudor, Charley Ager, and Brandon Kelly continued the search for pow, pillows, and mini golf fun in 2010!

The Whistler new year brought us heavy amounts of snow over continuous days. Once the hangovers subsided and the visibility got a tad better the sleds were fired up and we were right back at 'er. It began with a 530 am start and finding Danes truck being towed by a possessive neighbour and their very important numbered parking spot. Anyways, the quick detour to Whistler towing didn't slow us down at all. We met Sherpa and Chuck at the zone, and the early morning dark pow riding began.

It was Dane and Chucks first "pow" day filming, and the boys didn't miss a beat. Switch landings, big airs, and some pretty solid crashes commenced the day. Dane even maned up to a pillow line on his sled...pretty unique :) stoked on that.

This is just day one with the Whistler boys in 2010, and we are excited to have Spriggs, Sammy, TJ and Tyler up this way for some deep powder snow the coastal Canadian way.

Check back soon on more stories, photos, and video.

About Bootie

Bootie specializes in mashups, which are also known in some places as "bootlegs." So what's a mashup? What's a bootleg? It's pretty much all the same. Also known as "bastard pop," a bootleg is a song that's "mashed-up." Usually, this means the vocal track of one song is mixed over the instrumentation of another. Using audio editing software, DJs and mashup artists combine different artists and musical genres to create new and unique songs that are often greater than the sum of their parts. Imagine Michael Jackson rocking out with Nirvana, David Bowie crooning with MGMT, Madonna fronting Daft Punk, or Kanye West rapping with Beethoven, and many other unexpected combinations! Can't imagine that? Then get your ass to Bootie to hear for yourself!

Mike Henitiuk just got final cut so he will be posting a bunch of videos over the next few weeks and the rest of the season! Some of these will also be featured on PBP TV so be sure to check back and see what he has been up to!

He's been a busy boy this season shredding deep snow in November, chasing some sun in early December, hitting US selections for moguls, and now back to skiing and sledding in the mountains of British Columbia. He continues to hammer out smooth pillows, pow, tree taps and tricks in the backcountry we are excited to see what he does next.

A PBP Interview with Johnny D

Johnny D has been working feverishly for over a decade and a half to bring young skiers over the world the most intense and progressive shred flicks, inspiring millions and trasnforming the sport into what it is today. We took a break from the chest deep pow and epic waves today to talk with Johnny a bit about his philosophy on skiing, movie making, and the future.

- - - - - - - - - - -

PBP: What's good, Brothah?

JD: Not much, life's good hanging in Hawaii. Working like a dog though, haha!

PBP: Ahh, nice! What have you been up to since the big win at IF3 a couple months ago?

JD: IF3 Was awesome and doing well there made it even more fun. After that, we've been touring the movie and that's been insane! We've never had such a wild big tour, I only made the first few shows but each on seemed to be off the hook. I want to say thanks to all the fans who came out, it was epic to see a great reaction to the movie! I guess from there it was off to Hawaii to continue filming The Windsurfing Movie 2 (rough life out here) and of course, planning the new film.

PBP: The past couple years, you've taken a different approach from ordinary ski films, and its proven successful with all the awards. Are you shooting for a similar strategy this year?

JD: I think being different has really been good for all of us here at PBP. If you continue to create the same thing too many years in a row you get burnt out. It also makes you take a chance and come out of your comfort zone to be a bit different. For sure we will continue to make our movies with a bit more feeling and refine our style as we go.

PBP: Sounds like you've thought alot about what you can do to change up the game. What else is in store for us?

JD: Yeah, we're really going for it! We've got webisodes coming this fall/winter, and super cool music stuff. We have all our soundtracks posted and you can download your favorite tracks right off the site. We also have a brand new digital download store so you can get movies right off the site as well, which is awesome! A little later in the season we are planning Jib Jam 3 and a live park shoot / contest. That should be fun and new for sure. The Windurfing film is going really well too. This movie is gonna trip people out and maybe spark a whole new semi screen play style action sports film. We'll see, it could just freak people out, haha!

PBP: Windsurfing is sick, but whats the new ski movie gonna be about?

JD: Haha! Gonna need to see the trailer to get the scoop on that one. i can say we have some ridiculous shots and have been filming since October..

PBP: Dang, you tease! Got anything really spectacular planned this season we can look forward to?

JD: Yeah, tons, but I'm not sure I can tell you what they are. I can say Redbull is planning a concept shoot with us, which means something over-the-top is gonna go down...a secret BC location we took Tanner, Dane and Spriggs to last season and for sure we are gonna dabble our efforts in AK. So yeah, lots of sick stuff is gonna happen!
PBP: Nice dude, we're stoked! Anything else?

JD: I guess that's it from Hawaii, I'm off to go surfing...Later

...Oh I totally forgot about Mike D and Cody Townsend ski towing into 20 foot waves! They are doing the impossible and making it possible. We were out in huge surf yesterday and got some amazing shots, but we also lost a $9,000 jet ski of Levi's which got pitched over the falls on a huge wave. He was trying to recue Mike D after a sweet ride and the both got cleaned up! Oh well, that's how it goes, haha!

PBP: Right on dude, that sounds awesome! Can't wait to see the footage! Thanks for taking the time to talk to us all Johnny! See ya in the waves and on the slopes!

Whistler Sledding with Brandon Kelly, Durtschi and Henituk!

With a few days of down time, I have lost track of what day it was of this whistler trip. Some Avalanche danger kept us grounded and left us with some time to do some urban in Whistler. We did a drop gap that was really fun. Dan Carr took some sick photos as well.

I got to adjust the clickers on my sled, so it actually had torque, which sounds a bit like a canadian word “touque” which is a word I have been hearing alot while here in Canada.

Well I am gonna stay up here until Christmas, then I will visit with my family, since thats what the holidays are for, luckily I will get to ski on Christmas! This is one of my favorite things to do on Christmas, except last year I stayed inside all day and was very lazy.

I also had a blast in Whistler if you were wondering, and I cannot wait to make a ski segment with the terrain up here, I have graduated from Utah sledding, Oregon Sledding, Tahoe Sledding, Montana Sledding school and am ready to take my sledding skills to the vastness of Whistler backcountry (utterly Endless).

Also Durtschi Diaries has some footage of Whistler, watch it here!

Every Day Is A Saturday Official 2010 X-Dance Selection!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 18TH, 2009
EVERY DAY IS A SATURDAY OFFICIAL SELECTION AT X-DANCE 2010!

Poor Boyz Productions is proud to be officially accepted into the 2010 X-Dance Film Festival. X-Dance is a celebration of actions sports culture, film, music and video games that takes place in Salt Lake City from Jan. 20-26. It is considered the premiere Film Festival in the world of action sports.

Out of hundreds of entries, both domestic and international, EVERY DAY IS A SATURDAY was selected as a finalist and was judged on five categories: Cinematography, Editing, Story, Music, and Action.
X-Dance is unique in that each of the five categories are given equal value in the judging process. It is X- Dance’s belief that this rounded and balanced judging techniques will “move the Action Sport Film industry away from the ‘Action Porn‘, driven by the endemic industries, into legitimate filmmaking recognition of a much broader scale.” The selection of EVERY DAY IS A SATURDAY to X-Dance furthers the progression and growth at Poor Boyz as a film makers, and continuing on the success of the film from IF3 earlier this fall.

Transitions a film by Riley Poor and Contrast by Nimbus Productions was among the other films selected, so we would like to congratulate the Nimbus Crew and Riley on their accomplishments as well!

The Sun Was Shinning

The sun was shinning this last week in Whistler. It was cold but we made the best of it.

With a record November snowfall and with a little warming spell we were itchin to see how it would be way up high. We spent a few days hiking and exploring but definitely made the best of it. We weren't the only crew going for it! Got a few good lines, a little booter, and a few wicked sunsets.

All in all it was a good sunny few days in the Coastal Mountains of the Northern Provinces (aka Whistler)

Check out the photos below to see a tease!
