Born and raised in the northwest, Ross started skiing at the age 2; following in the footsteps of a very long line of skiers in the Reid family - his Grandpa didn't even know WWII had started until two weeks later when he returned home from a ski trip on Mount Rainier. Ross' love for skiing grew as he skied and drank underage with his cousins every weekend at White Pass, WA, while years of making jackass videos with his friends in high school provided adequate training for shooting ski movies. Following his urge to shred, Ross attended college at MSU-Bozeman, where 4 years of film school taught him that the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle was definitely not for him. Yet, freshly graduated and stoked on his PBP job-opp, he decided to give LA a shot, and soon found the surfing to be quite epic; so it all worked out.
