What's your favorite type of skiing to do? the type with light fluffy snow.

Pristine park, or epic pow? Both fun, but I'd have to say epic pow nothing beats a blower pow day.

What got you involved in skiing? Started skiing at Troll Mountain in Quesnel, BC. It has north americas 3rd longest T bar. My parents started bringing me up as a young one and I loved it.

Favorite skiing memory? I had an epic trip to Monashee Powder Cats with Justin Dorey 2 seasons ago. We don't get to ski together very often with him being such a competitive machine. But this 5 days was some of the best snow I've ever skied. So deep, light, and fun. Shredded pillow lines the whole time. Doesnt get much better!

What is is about skiing that you enjoy the most? I think what has drawn me to backcountry skiing is the adventure. It's always a bit of a mission involved and the reward of skiing that line, stomping that cliff/jump, and taking in the mountains while you're out there. And I've tried to find other stuff I like as much as skiing but it just hasn't happened yet.

How has being sponsored changed the way you ski? I think it's changed my opportunities. I've been able to ski and be in some pretty amazing places. But being a sponsored professional definitely pushes you to keep up and push your own boundaries.

What do you hope to accomplish on a pair of skis this year? harder, better, faster, stronger... haha, something like that. I just want to push myself super hard. I'm the strongest I've ever been so I'd like to capitalize on that. Ski some big lines for sure. I have a few ideas in my head that I want to bring to film. And work my ass off to put out a banger segment at the end of the season.

How does your skiing/segment in a movie reflect who you are? I think it reflects who I am pretty well. I love being out in the mountains, regardless if there is a camera around, I'd still be out in those mountains everyday.

Whats your favorite on-hill snack? fruit and nut chocolate bars. just enough sugar to give you a boost when you need it.

What do you when you're not skiing?

The Olympics are this year - you going?! BIG TIME! gunna watch my bro Josh Dueck win the paralympics in sit ski. He's gunna kill it, he was world champ last year and he's got his game face on! Can't wait to watch that.

When you're 70 years old, what are you going to be doing?
hopefully it won't be too much different. Still skiing for sure. Maybe be rich and go heli skiing all the time. Golfing in the summer. Own a yacht, pimp stuff like that probably.
